BOMONSTER has the Blues
I've designed a couple of CD covers for great bands. There is a thrill when hearing rough music mixes before the final production, hearing the band's concept for the record and then wrapping it all up in a package designed and scratched by me. The Devil Cat Motor Club is a Corvalis, Oregon-based four piece band of guitars, harmonica, and drums and borrows from a blues rock sound that shaped American music in the late 50s and early 60s. Their music is all original tunes and the band sounds great. They also like hot rods and were already fans of my art when they contacted me to see if I was interested. Once I heard their rough mixes, I knew I had to do it.
It was their idea to put a couple in a hot rod racing through a cornfield and that was enough for me to create this cool record cover and tee. Check them out on CD Baby and Spotify at the end of the summer.
